Help me! (You gotta be a Tamilian for this)
Can anybody point out the difference between PazhangkAlam and PurAnakkAlam? One obstinate friend of mine insists that there is. But he is not able to tell what it is. :-(
Paxhankalam means some time in the past it could 10 years or even 1000 years. I guess puranakalam means the ancient past - sangakalam or something like that. Just a thought! :-)

My belief is that puranakalam is a word with origins in Sanskrit, while pazhankalam is pristine tamil.
